MYERS MARKET In the news

OUR History

The Myers Daily Market opened in downtown Springfield on November 16, 1916 and was hailed as the most modern and most sanitary market in their part of the country, boasting refrigerated cases and no flies. The building has a long history and has had many lives. It was a market and home to many businesses and restaurants for decades before becoming home to United Senior Services from the 1980s until 2016.

COhatch The Market opened in 2020 to create a coworking, meeting, and community space in the city of Springfield, as well as a space for local food and beverage vendors. In 2025, we’ve officially rebranded as Myers Market to honor the building’s past and present use as a public space. COhatch will still be a part of Myers Market, organizing community events, and providing a beautiful space for coworking and meetings.
